Anjali Dubey

In the 14 years since she started her Space Planning, Architectural and Interior Designing practice, Anjali has made an indelible mark in the Architectural, Interiors and Space Planning fraternity. She has pioneered and introduced path breaking concepts and her work has been covered and reported on National Level by leading newspapers such as The Hindu and Times of India. Having worked with leading industrial groups and families, her work has been well respected and recognized.

Anjali is a graduate in Advanced Mathematics and a Post Graduate in Architecture and Interior Designing. At the start of her career back in the year 2000, she groomed herself by doing internship with few of the leading Architects namely Milind Bargal & Associates, UdayanNatu & Associates to name a few. It is with these proven professionals that she learned the intricacies of the profession and gained immensely from the rich knowledge drawing on their experience.

Her focus area and expertise is in green design, experimental concepts and restoration of heritage structures with very minimal change to their originality. She has recently converted a part of the historic City Palace in Udaipur into a Music Instruments Gallery where the music instruments in the royal courts of yesteryears are displayed. This gallery is a personal favourite of the present custodian of the House of Mewar, His Highness Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur. She has the honour of working with Shriji on multiple projects and many of them have been extensively covered in National and International Media.

Anjali has never shied away from experimenting with new materials and usage of local materials as per the need of the project. Her designs are not run-of-the-mill but rather they showcase her venturing into the unknown. There are few under-construction projects where she has boldly experimented with vernacular style with modern detailing and usage of unusual materials. These projects are due completion in 2017.

Anjali's concepts have also been recognized under the Smart Cities Project and an essay written by her was recently adjudged the best essay in the open category by the Udaipur Smart City Council among 50000 estimated entries.

Her famous commercial projects include the reconstruction of the heritage Garden Hotel owned by HRH Group of Hotels, Lal Bagh Restaurant which is one of its kind, G.D Goenka International School(Udaipur), Tatsaraasa Resort(Tropical style Resort nestled in the foothills of Aravali Mountain Range), Megasound's Corporate Office, Amrit's Spa & Hair Clinic to name a few.

Few of her top rated residential projects include the residences of eminent personalities namely Dr. Kirti Jain(GBH American Hospital), Dhaddhas(Owner – Gem Arts Emporium), Gandhi Family, Sh. Ravinder Arora(Udaipur Polysacks), Sh. S.K Mahajan(Wolkem Group) & Dr. A.K Gupta(Geetanjali Medicity) to name a few.

Her Architectural, Space Planning and Interior Consulting firm Anjali Azadd Dubey & Associates has been aptly named truly justifying the kind of creations she undertakes – the first and unique of its kind. Her style of designing is a fusion of ancient theories, ethnic style and modern detailing.
